Ok, so it's not as bad as I had thought.  I was thinking I was back to almost 150. 

Today I made myself egg whites for breakfast.  I actually cooked.  For myself. 

Then.. I went out to lunch at one of my favorite places and didn't get the fried chips.  I got a salad.  ..and clam chowder.  But only a cup. 

I've stuck with MFP all day.  Amazing.

Also, if it was nicer than freezing rain outside I would run.  Because I'm just feeling it today.  But not enough to freeze and be wet.  No thanks.

Over a year later..

And I'm hovering in the mid 140's again. 

Frick.

I actually talked myself OUT of dieting and exercising.  I thought, hey-I'm not in my twenties anymore.  My husband loves me the way that I am, and I like food. 

But then I saw a photo of me from summer of 09.

Frick. Again.

I was 119, tan and HAPPY.  I genuinely look HAPPY.  And so healthy.  I have no idea how I lost the weight back then.  I was on medication, but I've been on the same medication since then and didn't have any weight loss.  So, yea.

Whatever.

Is this my "Ok, gonna get back on track" post? 

Nope.

It's a whining post.  I need to run.  It's the only SUREFIRE way that I will lose weight.  But this wintery, cold and rainy weather is sucking the life out of me!  It makes me want to throw on sweats and eat while I watch tv.

Not cool. 

Maybe I'll go back down.  Maybe I won't.  At this point I've given up.  I've got the willpower of a 3 year old.  Seriously.

2/20/2013 - 136.5

Still holding strong at 136.5.  And I'm totally ok with that!  I have 8 days to lose 1.5 pounds to stay on track with my goals.  I can do it, I know I can!

I've found that the more weight I lose the more active I want to be.. unfortunately with the COLD weather and lack of time I haven't found anything to be active in.  I do dance in the morning while getting ready.. it's fun and I get my heart rate up for sure!

I think I'm going to do the 21 Day Sugar Detox again starting March 4th.  That's when the next cycle starts.. otherwise I'll have to wait until after March 27th to do it.  It's my 9th wedding anniversary and I'm dying to have a wonderful dinner on the town with my favorite man. :)

The warmer weather needs to come like NOW.. I want to run around the park with my kids and go hiking in the woods and the mountains!!!

2/13/2013 - 137

Wow!  Counting calories and not eating crap actually DOES work!!  I had to eat in between my classes today and ended up at Chic Fil a.. and I ate a salad with grilled chicken and low fat dressing.  GO ME.  I didn't even want fries or fried chicken.  I've come a long way. :)

I only have 2 more pounds to lose by March 1st.  I am right on track with my plan.  AND... I have officially lost TEN FLIPPING POUNDS since January 1st!!!

Happy Dance was done on the scale this morning.
